Nolan, congratulations for getting the addiction out of your system and more so keeping it out.
A quick comment on the 30 day workout. As you know, I absolutely agree with the 30 days of consistency in any habit you want to build or break.
Most of you might be visualizing yourself in the gym for 30 days straight working up a sweat. The main point of creating the 30 day workout habit is to stay active in one form or another. In turn, creating a habit that molds into your everyday life.
Watching professional Kick Boxers train in Thailand; they are in the gym working up a sweat for 6 hours a day, 6 days a week. On the 7th day even though they are not in the boxing gym they are still keeping active by going swimming or any other form of exercise that pleases them.
I remember asking them how they motivate them selfs in the morning? Their answer was very simple, “Once you do it long enough you just get used to it. You do not even think about it anymore.”
We might not be in the game of kicking and punching another but we are still in the game of life. Even though we do not need to workout 6 hours a day, we still have to train our bodies to function at its optimal level. The principle is still consistent. Do something at the intensity that suits your desired outcome.
Nolan, does this mean I can have another one of your books?
