Stop Trying To Create Your Purpose.
It seems like everywhere we turn, every book we read and every conversation we have is linked to creating our purpose in life. As valuable as this word purpose is to our lives, it has been over used, devalued and misunderstood.
Everyone one of us is born with a purpose. What we have to realize is that in order to create that happiness in our lives that we so long for – we do not necessarily have to fulfill our purpose but chase it and live it every day.
So the question that is flourishing in your minds at this moment in time – how do we create our purpose? We do not create it, it has always been within us and always will be – we have to find the courage to look it in the eye and embrace it.
That is the same for your business, if you do not revel its purpose to those around it then all you will create is a Time Treadmill. You will work hard everyday, time will pass you by yet you will still be at the same place you started from.
Good point. I believe you are right…however, how does one unearth their purpose?
I wish I could tell you that you take a magic pill and when you wake in the morning your purpose will be there to greet you.
There must be a million answers to this question. So I will answer it based on my own personal experience rather than what one reads in a book.
I believe our purpose can only be reveled when we face our greatest fears. Just how success is always on the other side of failure, our purpose awaits us on the other side of our greatest fears.
It is a hard concept to grasp, but remember before you shelf the concept. Do you believe most people live their purpose, let alone even know what it is? The reason the answer is NO is because most people think the way the average person thinks on a daily basis.
Start changing your daily thought process. Do not ask yourself how everyone thinks, ask yourself what the few elite think everyday. What kind of questions do they ask themselves everyday?
Grasp that fear with both hands and look it directly in the eye and smile. That is when you will know that fear has no hold over the life you are meant to live and then and only then will your purpose reveal it self to you.
